BBC Hires Gadget Video Blogger via YouTube
Citizen Journalists take hope: your payday may soon come if you work hard enough. BBC.co.uk announced today that BBC producer Mike Worsley hired reviewer Susi Weaser for a Sunday lifestyle show based entirely off of Weaser's Gadget Reviews on YouTube.
It will be interesting to see if Ms. Weaser's hiring is an isolated event or part of a larger movement by mainstream media outlets to hire staff based off of their blogging and/or video blogging abilities.
