Battery Eater

Battery Eater
A while ago, I got addicted to the Legend of Zelda game and keep losing batteries to the Wii-mote. I solved the problems with rechargeable batteries, but I still had several AA battery butts (for lack of a better word) sitting around.

For some odd reason, I never threw them away. Maybe it's because I felt I didn't want to throw away such energy. Fortunately, designer David Dear has come up with the Battery Eater, a device that does nothing more than kill batteries. Do not ask me why the design is so evil looking, but for $6.95, you can rest securely knowing your batteries are officially drained in its Jawslinks.

Still, I would like to use the juice from these nearly dead batteries to do something, even if it was just to charge my cell phone for an hour. I mean, why waste energy on anything? Well, at least you have closure.
