Bandai Luminodot is Lite Brite on crack
Some of you may have fond memories of a toy that Hasbro put out over twenty years ago called the Lite Brite. The now famous toy uses little pegs that are put on a board, and then illuminated by an ordinary light bulb.
The Bandai Luminodot works just like a Lite Brite, but it can hold about 3500 light pegs in a grid of 70 x 50. Instead of a light bulb, the Luminodot uses a bright LED backlight, which can work for some interesting light patterns.
The Luminodot is available in Japan, for a price of about $96 USD.
