Once in a while, someone will come up with a gadget that does nothing, like the yo-yo, or the hula hoop. The sole purposes of such devices is simply to pass the time in a fun manner.

I have discovered the latest "pass-the-time" toy with the BaliYo. Unlike the previous examples, the BaliYo has a pratical purpose as it can serve as a pen.

The BaliYo is really a butterfly knife without the blade, and if you get really good, you can do some really cool flipping tricks. Unfortunately, it doesn't work well as a pen, as the "flickable" parts tend to get in the way of the writing.
