Audio and External are the two words responsible for the Audex series, and the Audex Jacket is just the first in a line of products of this kind. Burton and Motorla developed this jacket for the snowboarders using bluetooth technology, that is available to the public since yesterday.

"At a touch of a button" you can:

• Listen and control (play/pause/stop/volume) the music coming from your iPod, yes there's a "hidden" pocket in the jacket for your favorite player. The wires will go inside the jacket and won't cause you a problem, so no worries with that.


• Receive/end/mute a call while riding your board

For easy accessibility there's a panel like the one at this page located on the left-hand sleeve. "Speakers and a microphone are located in the hood for taking and making calls as well as listening to music."

Compatible with:

• Any brand of Bluetooth 1.1 or 1.2-enabled mobile phone that supports "headset" or "hands-free" Bluetooth profiles


• Any Generation 3 or newer iPod with Docking Station (Excluding iPod Shuffle)

I can't imagine the number of weird looks people would make if I ever used this on the street. Other than that it's pretty good and very useful, the price is #$&$#% expensive, but maybe it's worth it if you're a hardcore snowboarder or just a rich person searching for ways to spend your money.
