It sounds like Sony is gearing up for the launch of the PS3 for the holiday season. Reports from Chinese publications Commercial Times and Apple Daily are claiming that ASUSTeK has started shipping the consoles to Sony. Supposedly the reports also claims that Asus received 200,000 component sets in June, with shipments to hit 2 million units in October. Foxconn is also supposed to be manufacturing PS3 consoles for Sony as well. PS3 launch is currently slated for November 11th in Japan and November 17 in the US and other countries.
