Apple to acquire Palm?

No, it's not true, it' just UberGizmo getting our hopes up.I must say, that I think there are worse things that applelinks could do. Palm stuff feels right to me, in the same way that Apple stuff does. Apple hasn't been in the PDA space since the gave it the Newton kickstart, all those years ago - and I think it's a space that could benefit from input from Apple.

I like my T3, but really, it hasn't evolved that much compared to my old III. Sure, it's got colour, and it's a bit faster, with more storage - but the basic concept of how it works hasn't really evolved.

Now, get Apple's UI engineers involved, and put the product design team onto the concept of a PDA - then we'd get something interesting (yes, Ok, in a couple of years time, sure).
