Apple Stores Prepare to do Battle Against Vista

As the next phase of the personal computer wars begins with the duel between OSX Leopard and Vista, ZD Net blogger Mary Jo Foley links to a blog post on Think Secret that says that Apple retail stores are preparing for a campaign for the hearts and minds of potential Vista users by pointing out the fundamental flaws in Windows and the similarities between the Vista interface and the OSX interface (those two things together sound a little ironic, don't they?). As Foley suggests, maybe the campaign is to get Windows-using iPod lovers to take the next step and switch to an entirely Mac world. I wonder what store employees are trained to do if they encounter a guy like this?

The Mac is cool, but Vista is just a more productive OS. And people is so used to the Windows applications. I think it’s much easier when switching from a Windows Mobile device to an iPhone.
