Yesterday, the hardware hackers unlocked the iPhone. Now the software guys are claiming they've unlocked the iPhone without all that messy disassembly and soldiering.
iPhoneSimFree will be selling their software unlock solution for Apple's iPhone "next week." The question is: what will that unlock cost the hordes who will undoubtedly be lining up with their credit cards in hand? Personally? I prefer to buy my phones factory unlocked. You still can't do that with the Apple iPhone yet.

I've tried this software out and it worked flawlessly on my iPhone 3G - so thanks to the dev team
