, won't be hitting shelves at the end of this month, as expected; Apple announced that "wrapping up Apple TV is taking a few weeks longer than we projected" and that consumers should expect the device to hit shelves in mid-March.Since Apple refuses to elaborate on what's taking so long, we're left with speculation. Was WiFi implementation not as easy as they thought? Were there issues with licenses, either some legal issue with beaming the files from the computer to the TV or a technical problem with making sure the DRM behaves itself? Given the potential for this device to help determine the future of the media center space, it'll be interesting to see if Apple TV really comes out in time for this new deadline.
