App Store hits 1billion
It's gotta be said, for their flaws, the iPhone and the iPod touch have been phenominally successful, and have really paved the way for smartphones and mp3 players in the future, but still, I was utterly amazed to hear quite how well they have done.
The app store, which is where one can download various applications for the devices, has just celebrated it's billionth download… in around a year, less than, even, over 1billion apps have been downloaded.
Congrats, Apple, what an achievement!
