Apocalypse Pah! Suzuki Has The Answer
Filed in archive Cars by Michael Pick on October 1, 2007
Ok, so sooner or later we are going to be plunged into an apocalyptic scenario beyond our wildest reckonings, and it's going to be a trifle difficult to nip down to the shops due to the skin peeling pollution levels or nuclear winter. Suzuki mocks at such inconveniences with its new concept vehicle. Post-apocalyptic car owners take note.

Apocalypse Pah! Suzuki Has The Answer

Engadget reports that the Japanese vehicle manufacturer:
" is preparing to capture a piece of this potentially lucrative market with a concept transportation system known as PIXY + SSC. Scheduled to be unveiled at the 2007 Tokyo Motor Show, this dynamic duo consists of a rolling transporter (SSC, or Suzuki Shared Coach) which can carry up to two PIXY runabouts - fully-enclosed, three wheeled pods that will let you comfortably navigate a toxic or post-nuclear world. Suzuki plans to make these available "well before it becomes impossible to walk to our dealerships.""

So really, it's okay to leave your plasma TV on standby all night, pile your non-biodegradable garbage high and flip the bird to those antsy folk over in north korea and Iran. Suzuki has you covered.
