AP501 Digital Door Lock Wonders How Much is Safety Worth
Have you ever heard of lock bumping or lock picking? The fact of the matter is that traditional, basic locks are not very secure. Door locks are a technology that has been around for hundreds of years, and in that time, very little has changed. The AP501 Digital lock is here to change all of that.

The AP501 Digital lock is a waterproof, zink-alloy and steel lock that installs in your regular door. It features a keypad or a wireless tag for entry. And, according to the manufacturer, it is "tank tough", although I am not entirely sure what that means. I think if a tank wanted to get into my house, it wouldn't worry about the lock.

The door lock is easy to install, and it honestly looks pretty nice on a door. I also like how it modernizes and speeds up entry into a house. Having a RFID key-tag is a huge convenience when it comes to getting in a door with your hands full or during bad weather.

The lock does seem very nice and very secure, but it does cost $350. How much is your piece of mind worth?
