Animated Cat Alarm
I swear, we could run an entire blog just on the weird stuff that Brando puts out. This time the product is an animated USB kitty armed with a vision, motion and sound sensor that mews, hisses and sings songs when intruders approach your computer (apparently to scare them away – perhaps we're dealing with a juvenile mentality, because I'm pretty sure that wouldn't work on anyone over 18). It'll also do the same thing for you if you ask it through its software – Brando's site says that the software allows you to create a customizable profile that includes the cat's name, gender, birthday and the song you want the cat to sing on that day. Brando also suggests that you can sing along with the cat if you like, although if you do it might be time to get off the computer and go hang out with a real person (or at least a real cat).
