And you can Make Your Coffee with the Waste Products...

Imagine: you're in the middle of the desert, or off on a beach on your private tropical island, or even at the local community pool – somewhere where power outlets aren't readily available and by God, you need to use your mp3 player/cell phone/laptop/DVD player/other cool device and your batteries are all dead. What to do? Despair for lost entertainment? Gnash your teeth in frustration at the limitations of chemical batteries when you *know* consumer nuclear batteries are just around the corner? Not hardly, if you've had the forethought to spend £4,000 (about $7,300) on a Voller Automatic Battery Charger (ABC). Ok, so the price is a little steep, but the product itself is pretty awesome: a 100 watt portable (20 lbs.) hydrogen fuel cell with 110V or 230V AC voltages, both sporting a 12VDC output and a USB charging port, monitored by an onboard computer that keeps all of the power generation working properly. One hydrogen canister can run a laptop for 12 hours, or an iPod for about a week. Plus, the only waste product the ABC produces is water, so if you were suddenly stranded in the middle of that desert for a week or two, you wouldn't necessarily have to be dehydrated.
