And They Said mp3s Couldn't Sound Good...

-sized device that splits your compressed audio files into three different circuits, amplifies them and adds a bit of a surround effect as well. The result, apparently, is a crisper, cleaner sound (even on low quality files) that you can share with a friend through the Revolution's two headphone jacks. The device is a bit pricey ($60), however, and requires two AAAA batteries (in case you ever saw AAAA batteries in a store and wondered what you'd ever use them for) for 20 hours of battery life. Although the appeal to mp3 player (including iPod) owners is obvious, Boostaroo states that "the Revolution works with portable DVD players, MP3 and CD players, satellite radios, PC's, Laptops, and FM transmitters."Image courtesy of Boostaroo
