An Alarm that Allows You to Clean its Clock
If the picture says a thousand words, then I suppose this one is more than enough. This is simple design by Roger Ibars allows the user to turn off his or her alarm in a very satisfying way.

Not only can the user shut off the Gun-Operated Alarm Clock with the old-school NES light gun, but they can also use it to set the time as well. This will give you a chance to brush up on those old Duck Hunt skills.

Personally, I would like to see the light gun go wireless. Then I would like to use it to operate all annoying machines. For example, I'd like to shoot off annoying cell phones that go off in the movie theaterlinks. Then I'd like to punch out my time card. Okay, I clearly have some issues to deal with. But you have to admit, a device like that would be perfect for Jack Bauer.
