Amulet Brings Voice Activation to Remote

What do you expect from a $299 remote? Personally, if I am going to lay down the cost of a low-end computer for a remote control, it better make my life a whole lot better. This remote made by Amulet Devices, is an all-in-one with voice recognition and voice control. Does voice activation make a remote worth $299? I am not sure, but it sure makes it cool.

The Amulet Remote gives you the phenomenal power of being able to say "Listen to The Killers" and shazam, your media center plays your favorite band. Do you have a need to watch LOST? If so, simply say "Watch television program LOST", and your TV does the rest. Of course, you do need to have a Microsoft Media Center PC fully integrated into your entertainment system, but if you do, a $299 remote probably isn't too much of a hurdle to overcome.
