Amazon Kindle Ebook Reader

I suppose that I don't even need to report on this, because it will probably be everywhere this week when Jeff Bezos, the big dude over at Amazon, makes it official.
I suppose that it is simply poetic justice that the owners of the world's biggest bookstore plans to put out the Kindle, an ebook reader like no other. Not only does it have a full QWERTY keyboard, but it also has WiFi. Too bad the screen is monochromatic, but it is rumored to have an external light.
Newsweek will feature more on it on their cover this week. The price will be about $399 USD. The books themselves are about $9.99 each.

Having played with the Sony ebook reader, it’s very difficult to replicate the feeling of reading a real book, especially paperback – you can fold and highlight any pages, and give the book to someone else when you are done reading.
