For those of you who still don't have a speaker for your iPhone or iPod, then you might want to give the Orbit from Altec Lansing a try.

The Orbit, or Orbit MP3 iM237, is a single speaker sound system that attaches to your iPod or iPhone via headphone jack, but does not drain the power. The Orbit is actually powered by three AAA batteries which enable it to play for 24 hours non-stop.

The Orbit comes with a special carrying case for about $39.95.
