Three new Pentax cameras announced - releases in detail from DPReview.
The S30 is a 3 megapixel camera that slots into the "affordable" end of the range. While aimed at the newcomer to digital photography, it still boasts a 3x optical zoom. Optio 30The S40 is the next step up - 11mb of flash built in, as well as a slot for SDE/MMC cards. 4.0 effective megapixels, and the 1.6" LCD monitor offers a 100% field of view.
