A Practical, Portable Mouse
I've been working off of a laptop for the past week and a half, so I can relate to the sentiment behind this gadget: laptop touchpads are a painful evil, especially when they wear out. The USB Mouse Hub from Gadgeteer aims to rid you of your touchpad woes and solve a few other problems in the bargain: it's an 800 DPI optical mini mouse with a retractable USB cable for easy storage. On the cable is a two-port USB hub (perfect for adding additional functionality three-port laptops like mine), while the mouse itself features a microphone so you can chat via Skype, presumably without lifting the mouse up to your face to talk. Overall, it's a pretty Niftylinks idea for about $25.
