To stay secure, Durabooks use magnesium alloy cases that are supposedly 20 times stronger than plastic, have internal shielding for vital components and set hard drives and LCD displays in rubber to absorb shocks. The whole system is drop-tested, spill-tested and meets a number of impressive-looking certifications in the US and Europe. The Durabook is pretty cheap, too for the protection you get: about $1200.
