51 Memory Cards in One?
Did you know: there are 51 kinds of memory cards out there, or so says Brando, who has a 51 in 1 USB card reader available for $14.00. The Gadgeteer put this claim to the test when they reviewed the Card Reader and found that the claim is apparently true - it's just that those 51 types of memory cards break down into 4 connection categories, one for each slot on the Card Reader.

To be honest, given the popularity of flash memory cards of all types, I'm surprised there isn't a consortium to try and create some standardization. An abundance of names and specifications only creates consumer confusion and really, who wants that?
