40% discount at theregister.co.uk - books

The bookshop at theregister.co.uk has been online since 2002, but sadly it's closing this week. The good news are: they're offering 40% off their 6 best selling books about IT, programming and software.
I'll give you one or two books that seem interesting:
- Code Reading by Diomidis Spinellis. There are other programming books (PHP, MySQL, Unix) on promotion, but I liked this one because it makes you look at the code from a different perspective than the usual.
This book is a unique and essential reference that focuses upon the reading and comprehension
of existing software code. While code reading is an important task faced by the vast majority of students, it has been virtually ignored as a discipline by existing references.

- Firefox and Thunderbird by Peter Hipson - Beyond Browsing and Email. If you're still using Internet Explorer (I certainly hope not) this book will show you the light.
The author gives readers a path through Firefox's many options, explaining which should be adjusted, which shouldn't, and how to locate the many hidden preferences. Readers will find tips and tricks for adjusting the browser's appearance and behavior, including Firefox extensions and themes, and how to install the most popular extensions. Several chapters cover Thunderbird's built-in spam filters, calendar, and customizable layout and toolbars.
