3D Imaging in Your Home Thanks to the JVC DLA-RS2
It may not be holograms or anything cool like that, but the JVC DLA-RS2 seems pretty darn cool. If you have a home theater, and you would like the visuals to be a bit more high definition and in 3D, then this JVC projector is for you. You don't even have to wear the geeky glasses.

The DLA-RS2 boasts a full 1080p resolution, D-ILA projector lamp, and stereoscopic (think magic eye photo) video processing to create three dimensional and beautiful images of your Blu-Ray movies. The currently released Journey to the Center of the Earth, for example, would look spectacular through this thing. The acting and story would still stink, but the images would be fantastic.

Due to be released in 2009, the DLA-RS2 is bound to be pretty pricey. JVC is not letting on with the price yet, but if you are the type of person would would be looking for a 1080p, 3D projector with a 30,000:1 contrast ratio, price probably doesn't matter much to you. Just be sure to invite me over to watch the 3D U2 concert - I'll bring the popcorn.
