Maxtor have a new 300Gb external USBV2.0/Firewire Drive. It comes with a one-touch backup feature (detailed in the review below), and the ability to stack or chain multiple of these drives together.

Is this safe enough? I figure 300GB can contain a lot of important files and a drive crush is not recommendable here... I think a backup system would work perfectly here.
