After 1 month and 3 weeks of being announced, the 2nd generation iPod Shuffle will finally hit the stores this friday (november 3rd). What Steve Jobs claimed to be the "worlds smallest digital music player" costs $79, can hold 1GB of data and play for 12 straight hours. There are plenty of other mp3 players that are also small and the same thing as the 2nd gen iPod shuffle, so what is all the big hype about? The iPod Cult? Itunes? The included dock that connects the iPod to a Mac/PC? In my opinion the credit goes for the cult.
Anyway, if you are an iPod fan you probably already made a pre-order when it was first announced, if that is not the case just go to an Apple store this friday and get one. Or in case you are an Apple hater there are other choices that can be seen at anythingbutipod.com
