12-in-1 Gadget…With One Limitation

Brica's Video Recorder, DVR, Media Player & Camera w/FM Radio sounds pretty cool – it's got:

a video recorder for recording content from DVD or TV
a video recorder that creates 320 x 240 ASF files
a two megapixel still camera
a webcam that hooks into your computer by USB
a video player with partial AVI and MPG support
an image viewer that displays JPGs
a PictBridge connection for printing to compatible printers
an MP3 player that plays MP3s, WAVs and unprotected WMAs
a mono FM tuner
a sound recorder that saves 64 Kbps MP3 files.
an eBook viewer that can read TXT files
four games

All on a fairly compact device. You can read the full list of specifications here, but it's pretty obvious this device, like many other convergence devices (sigh) is good at a lot of things, but not outstanding in any one area. According to Calibryze.com, you get a bonus 2 GB SD card to supplement the 512 MB of internal memory, but that would probably be an area where you'd want to upgrade.
